Teach livestock climate with the industry’s own tool

StaldVent is used in teaching at agricultural colleges and universities in Denmark and abroad – because climate engineering becomes concrete when students can simulate the consequences of their choices.

For teaching

The Education edition includes the CIGR models (1984 and 2002), feeding level and activity parameters, system design, heat loss and annual simulation with duration curves – everything needed to show the relationship between animals, building, system and climate. Sample projects for pigs, cattle, hens and turkeys are included.

For research

Hour-by-hour simulations, CSV export and published models make StaldVent well suited for theoretical analyses and as a reference in projects – the program itself is rooted in more than 40 scientific publications and was presented as a workshop at CIGR 2020.
