The program
The barn’s entire climate engineering in one program
StaldVent is a decision-support program for Windows that combines design, simulation and documentation in one workflow – from production data to finished report.
StaldVent is a decision-support program for Windows that combines design, simulation and documentation in one workflow – from production data to finished report.
Choose species, numbers, weights and production form – the program calculates heat, moisture and CO2 production using the CIGR models. Add building geometry and U-values so heat loss is included from the start.
Assemble the system from inlets, exhaust units and heating/cooling components with documented performance data – use the standard library or your own company file with up to 10,000 components.
Run hour-by-hour simulation with local weather data: barn temperature, humidity, CO2, electricity and heat consumption – and emissions with the emission module. Compare scenarios with duration curves.
Compose the report for the permit file, the client or the quotation – with your logo, parts lists and CSV export for further analysis.

Pricing depends on edition and modules. Book a demo and we will find the right setup for your work – no strings attached.
What does StaldVent require?
An ordinary Windows PC. The program is lightweight, runs fine on laptops – and installs in minutes.
Can I use my own component data?
Yes. Companies maintain their own component files with tested performance data, so calculations match your product range exactly.
Does it work outside Denmark?
Yes. Simulations run on hourly weather data for the specific location – in any climate zone, heating- or cooling-dominated.
Where do the models come from?
From published research: CIGR heat production models and component test data from the Danish research centre at Bygholm. See more under About StaldVent.
Can I try it for free?
Yes – book a demo and get a personal walkthrough plus a 14-day full demo version with support.
